1. The contribution of horticulture to the Sustainable Development Goals with a focus on SDG 2
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals have been formulated to guide development efforts towards a sustainable future. By 2030 these goals and their targets are to be reached in a global effort. Describe in your paper the specific targets of SDG 2 (No hunger) and highlight how horticulture, specifically fruit and vegetable production, processing and consumption can make a significant contribution to reach the five outcome targets. (There is no need to address the 3 implementation targets).
