My research focuses on ground-validated remote sensing applications from drones and satellites to study ecosystem structures, dynamics and key (hydrological) exchange processes such as evapotranspiration across spatial scales, from single trees to regions. My current research interests include agroforestry, enhanced landscape (water) stress monitoring and the design, optimization and implementation of sustainable multipurpose landscapes.
