My background is in agricultural science and landscape ecology. I am interested in the ecological impact of agriculture on a landscape scale, especially how this impact has changed in recent history. With a passion for both complex natural ecosystems and productive agricultural systems, I am motivated to explore the potential of agroforestry to bridge the gap between the two. Currently, I am using decision analysis methods to understand how institutional barriers and funding options affect the performance of European agroforestry systems.
